Woo!!... Hoo!!... Nailed The Winners Trophy- Best Bridal Look 2015!!..

Heya Everyone...

I'm just so excited and I just can't hide it,
I'm about to lose control And I think I Like It !!!!!....

Oh Yeah !!!.... Can't Stop Singing It... :)

Guys, this is just more than enough to express my excitement.. One of the best days when you are just so satisfied and you feel like you have utilised your day at its best... Amazingly beautiful experience that I so want to share it with you all.. The feeling of having "Glitters All Around & Winner Trophy In Your Hands" is the best that one could ever imagine off...

It was just two days back that I was informed about the pageant and was not even sure about participating in it.. The bridal costume and the jewellery were done just a day back by my dear friend but were done so well that it just boosted my self confidence level...

Still can hear crowd cheering with all the beautiful compliments while I was on my way to the stage, which actually boosted my levels of confidence and made me to give my best in terms of poses, expressions, walk and the scariest of all - the Question Round, in front of all the well known judges from the beauty field and the media...

It was 5 in the evening, almost 6 hrs till the pageant has started and all the beautiful brides i.e. contestants were resting in the green room and were so nervous as in another 10 mins the result was about to be declared. I also received a call from my make up artist to come to the main room where result was about to be declared.. On my way to the main room, I again met few people from the crowd who gave me a thousand beautiful compliments and wanted to get clicked with me.. Celeb Life.. Woo.. Ho.. But in another 5 mins, I found myself stuck in the crowd where people were appreciating me and moreover requesting to get clicked with me... Don't wanted to be rude but then I was getting late for the main thing for which I was there... Somehow, in another 10 mins, I managed to escape the crowd and as soon as I entered the main room I actually took a sigh of relief... Goshhh... And I could here anchor calling my contestant no. and my name... Immediately I rushed to the stage, and everyone around there started congratulating me- Glitters boosted up in the air and guess what, could see Winning Trophy soo much close and in another fraction of second was offered to me...

Hurray!!!... I Did It... As a team- My Make Up Artist, Hair Stylist, Wardrobe Deisgner - We Did It !!!..... :)

As soon as I get off the stage, I again founded myself surrounded by a huge crowd but nevertheless I was soo overwhelmed and happy that I got more than thousand pics clicked with everybody around there and finally guards had to come to rescue me from the crowd out there...

What a lovely moment, words cannot even explain.. Without a single blink I was just looking at the trophy and finally got time to click my selfie with it...

And look who was there all along to support and motivate me.. The man with endless love and blessings- My Dad!!...

(A proud moment with my dad... Love him more than anything in the World...)

A closer look at the beautiful Fall Smokey Eye Make up complimenting the little Bindi on my forehead and the ethnic bridal attire, ofcourse... I must add on that I was in soo much love with this look that it was very hard for me to go for clean up..

Hope, You guys have also liked my Indian Bridal Look... Keep posting me your views...

DIY - Instant Skin Smoothening Scrub

Heyaa Everyone

Hope You Guyss Are Doing Great.... :)

I'm just so excited to share one of the easiest DIY and best beauty scrub I have used till now, which can be used on both your face and the body & will just leave your skin insanely smooth... Its just soo good on the white heads and trust me I'm soo obsessed with this scrub that I feel like indulging myself from head-to-toe in it... It works so great on the rough parts like knees, elbows and knuckles... And the best part about this scrub is that it doesn't require any preparation time... It can be made and used right way... Isn't it great guys, no preparation time and getting the best results for your skin...

Also incase, If you wish to prepare and store your scrub for later use, you can mix up all the ingredients in a thick consistency and store it in the refrigerator for upto 2-3 weeks... Personally I like to prepare it and use it right away... And I'm soo much obsessed with this scrub that I use it once every week...

For the scrub, we require the following basic ingredients, which are easily available at our home:

Ingredients:

Lemon – A natural source of vitamin C; an ingredient commonly used to lighten sun and age spots and even out skin tone; a natural astringent that tightens pores and brightens the complexion.

Sugar – A natural exfoliator; a natural source of glycolic acid which evens out skin tone, cleans pores, and improves overall skin texture by removing dead, dull skin cells.

Honey – A natural source of anti-oxidants making it a perfect ingredient for age prevention; a natural humectant so it locks water into the skin and keeps the complexion hydrated; the antibacterial properties benefit acne-prone skin by reducing breakouts.

Olive Oil – High in vitamin E, which soothes and heals skin; a natural moisturizing ingredient often used for its anti-aging benefits. (Optional)

Instructions:

Take Honey in a bowl.. Its preferable if you use a plastic container as it is an easy storage
and will protect your scrub from any kind of chemical reaction otherwise you may store it
in a glass container as well..

Now, add some granulated sugar to it.. Mix it well until the ingredients bind together into
a medium-to-thick consistency... You can even use brown sugar instead of the white one...
If you feel that there isn’t enough sugar to get the scrubbing done, add a bit more..

Finally add some lemon juice and olive oil(optional) to the mix incase you want to prepare it
& store it in advance... You may add or subtract the amount of olive oil and honey that
you use depending on how thick you want your scrub to be...

Personally, I mix honey and sugar together in a bowl and apply it on my face while using
the lemon juice from a seperate bowl to wet my fingers so that scrubbing can be done
properly and without being too sticky... And I use Olive Oil in the end after rinsing off the
scrub with the cold water, just to moisturize my skin..

This scrub is ideal for people who suffer from breakouts and acne as all of the ingredients
are highly beneficial to acne-prone skin. Lemon tightens pores and evens out the skin tone,
sugar removes dead skin cells and cleans pores, olive oil heals acne scaring, and honey
prevents future breakouts.

TipAfter using this scrub, you may sense heat on your skin, so its better to rinse it with cold
water or you may even rub ice cube on your face as it will also help to tighten the open pores..
Leave on for 2 minutes after the scrubbing of max.5-7 mins. and  rinse off with cool water..

Warning: Be cautious of using lemon on your skin as it has a tendency to sting. Iyou
notice any discomfort rinse off immediately.

*Make a new batch every 2-3 weeks, to insure that ingredients work as effectively
as possible.

Let me know if you try it and how it works for you....

Review: L’oreal Colour Riche in I Pink You're Cute

Heyaa Girls...

Summers Are Here!!... And LIPSTICKS are a Big YES for your Summer Day Look specially the Brighter Tones.. Shades from the Pinks & Oranges always attract me more and look what caught my eye while looking at my friend's vanity, L’oreal Colour Riche in "I Pink You're Cute"... It is in a bright coral but very subtle pink color and as the name suggest I found this shade very cute ;) and also very similar to my MAC Viva Glam Nicki (Limited Edition)..

Let's see if you girls can make any difference in the below swatches of the Two:

The First/Left one is L'Oreal I Pink You're Cute and the Second/Right is MAC Viva Glam Nicki... The color of the two is exactly the same - so much so, that I consider it a perfect dupe of MAC Nicki and that too at a good price..  There is however, difference in the texture and wear of these lipsticks...  L'Oreal "I Pink Your Cute" has a much sheerer finish whereas MAC Nicki is a semi matte finish...

Anyway coming back to the L’oreal Colour Riche in I Pink You're Cute, I must say it goes on smooth and is a very Creamy, Moisturizing, and Pigmented lipstick.. Great one for the dry lips as it will keep up hydrating it all the time...

One thing I also want to share is that I have noticed that on some people it looks like Coral Pink and on others it is more of Hot Pink. Its because of the difference in skin tones.. If you have a more of cool toned skin, the warmth of the lipstick contrasts with the coolness of your skin making it look more coral and super pretty whereas on warm toned skin like mine it looks hot pink..

The few Unfortunate things about this lipstick is that it makes your teeth appear more yellow than usual, but that is bound to happen with many pink shade lipsticks... Also, it has a fancy ladies scent in it, something which not everybody will like but I feel its common in all drugstore lipsticks... Also, probably due to its more of glossy finish, it's not that long lasting, 3 to 4 hours and it was gone for me but that is how mostly drugstore lipsticks are to be...

(Swatch In Daylight (Without Flash))

In short, I would say L’oreal Colour Riche in "I Pink You're Cute" is PERFECT for summers specially if you love bright pink lips (Like Me)... Also, it can easily be dabbed on to give a subtle pink color, in case if you are not that much into brighter shades...

I am extremely fair with brown hair and brown eyes, and with a nice smokey eye this lipstick just pulls everything together so nicely that I'm in love with this Cute Pink lipstick!!..

So, girls let's go PINK LIPS this summers....

Tip: Exfoliate your lips atleast twice a week ( Check Out DIY Scrub for Lips) and always moisturize your lips with chap stick or lip balm before using lipstick...

Review : Elf Ultimate 144 Bright Eyeshadow Palette

Heya Everyone...

Hope You Guys Are Doing Great.... :)

Today I'm gonna review one of the cheapest eyeshadow palette I have come across, having all the colors of the Rainbow and Even More, just perfect for the Spring/Summer Look.. Sounds Great!!!....Isn't It Guyss...

About The Palette: It is called "Ultimate 144 Eyeshadow Palette" in "Bright" By E.L.F. and you can get it online for just INR 2385 approx. There are other versions of this palette also available online but I chose the Bright one as its "Summer Time" already and this palette has 144 shades from the bright yellows & blue hues to the perfect plums and pinks, rich neutrals and sparkling charcoals.. It almost has every color from the matte to the shimmery shades, one needs to create endless vivid eye looks for the day and even for the night...

The look I'm wearing is created using this eye shadow palette only and I have circled the shades which i have used for this vivid eye look..

Review: The eye shadows look great and lasts for about 3-4 hours without any eye shadow base/primer.. The pigmentation is a little hit and miss for me.. Some shades are nicely pigmented while some are very chalky.. Some sort of shadow primer or cream base will definitely improve the color payoff of those lighter shades which look pretty sheer in the swatches.. Also, I feel many of the shades are not true to its color.. Although I have a habit of always using an eyeshadow primer, I think one really needs to apply primer with these shadows (especially the lighter tones) which can be a little powdery..

Swatches: I have tried a few of my favorite shades from the palette without any base/primer.

Bottom Line: This kit is only INR 2385 and a lot of people (Like Me) might not expect great quality but it really has some shades that are highly pigmented and for the beginners, Its a great palette to play with. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the shadow look partially because I mostly use some of the more pigmented shadows in this palette.

Tip: Always use Primer Base before putting on eyeshadow for long lasting & more pigmented eye makeup.

Rating: I will give it 3/5 as it is true to its worth..

Thanks for Tuning In Guysss....

DIY - Sugar Lip Scrub

Heya Everyone :)

Today I'm gonna give you a quick tip on how to do "Lip Exfoliation" at home for chapped and dry lips.. I know most of the people don't exfoliate their lips as much as their skin but once you will see my results I'm sure many of you gonna give a try to it..

Lip exfoliation is not only relaxing guys but will strip off dead and dry skin from your lips and will help you achieve a more softer, smoother and plumper lips that to in minutes.. Isn't it Great Guys !!!...

It will also make your lips retain its moisture for long and when your lips are well moisturized you are less likely to have cracked or chapped lips.. I do my lip exfoliation atleast twice a week with this homemade scrub as it works very well for me..

Also, a great variety of lip scrubs are available in the market, which one can give a try anytime but if we can do it at home without any hassle, why not give it a try !!!...

Ingredients:

Vaseline: Moisturizes, Nourishes, and Cleanses the skin.

Granulated Sugar: Naturally inhibits Bacterial Growth & its Rough Texture helps slough off dead skin cells.

Vitamin E: Owing to its antioxidant properties, Vitamin E is both a natural preservative and nourishes the skin. Various kind of Vitamin E Oil & Capsules are available in the market.. (OPTIONAL)

(That's It!!...)

Directions:

  • 1.  Mix all the ingredients together in a container. (You may re use your lip balm container to mix the ingredients)

  •   Apply a small amount of the mixed product to the lips with the help of an ear bud.

  •  Rub gently into lips for a few seconds or up to two minutes.
.
  •  If time allows, let the mixture remain on the lips for a minute or two.

  •  Wipe off gently with a warm or damp cloth and feel the difference.

  •    Enjoy your Smooth, Soft & Healthier Lips :-)

Thanks for Dropping in Guys... Hope this works for you as well...

Review: L’oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Shampoo

Heya Everyone.. :)

Before we start this review, let me tell you guys a little about my hair type.. I have a very normal scalp type and I don't have virgin hair at all... I have got smoothing done approx a month back and this is the second time I have got it done... Also I have got them colored approx 6 months back... Usually I wash them like every other day but when I go gymming I'm left with no option but to wash them daily so basically I use a shampoo which is very mild on my hair and don't make it look rough... Earlier, I used to wash my hairs with X-Tenso Care, Again a product By L’oreal Professionnel but this time thought of giving "Liss Ultime Shampoo" a try as it was recommended by my hair dresser and I even got a Complimentary 100ml bottle with my smoothing therapy.. May be some promotional offer going on in the salon... But isn't It Great!!!... Only if it actually works as good as advised by my hair dresser...

Coming back to the Review:

I love using L'oreal products especially their Hair Care products as they have a very sweet and soothing fragrance which is an obvious add on to their quality and its been almost 3 weeks that I'm using Liss Ultime Shampoo which you can get from any nearest salon for MRP Rs.525/- for a 250ml Bottle and even cheaper at any online product selling website.

Packaging: It is an opaque light purple colored bottle so you can not see the left over product quantity as most of the shampoo bottles are opaque these days. It comes in a minimum of 250ml bottle without any pump whereas 500ml & 1000ml  bottles have an attached pump to it which is much convenient to use.

Coming to the product, you can smell the divine fragrance as soon as you open the bottle which stays in your hair even after you rinse it properly. I have found my hair very smooth and frizz free although I have felt that it takes more than usual time to dry up your hair after using this shampoo but its manageable as long as it works for you. Also as the packaging says it has Oil Incell Technology that nourishes your hair with olive oil and Argan oil, you can actually see the results right after the first time you use this shampoo. It gives your hair a great shine. Anybody who is having dry to normal scalp type and have frizzy hair, should give a try to this shampoo. The only drawback with this shampoo is that it doesn't lather that much as compared to the regular ones so one can end up using a huge amount of it which will definitely gonna make the hair look more greasy.

This is how "Liss Ultime Shampoo" has worked for me, I would definitely like to recommend it to the ones who have normal scalp type and have treated hair like me.

Rating : I will give it a 3/5.

Hope this review has helped you guys. My search for even a better shampoo is still on and please feel free to share if you have any other better recommendations. I would love to hear it from you guys...

Thanks!!!...
